We are delighted to announce our new joint event this February 4th at Bishopsgate in London sponsored by McDermott Will & Emery, The Society of Property Researchers, Real Estate Women As well as VARi.
This workshop will explore how AI is transforming the real estate industry, including advancements in forecasting, real estate valuation, and provide some practical demonstrations of AI for common property research tasks. Attendance is available in-person or virtually.

Session 1: Analysis, Strategy, and Forecasting with Generative AI
Speaker: Dr. Nikodem Szumilo, Associate Professor at The Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment, UCL
Dr. Szumilo is an expert in urban economics and real estate finance, with a focus on the intersection of data, strategy, and economic forecasting.
This session will cover how to use GenAI to integrate quantitative and qualitative data into the analysis and further create strategies with AI. Dr. Szumilo will highlight steps for effective strategy formulation like setting context, defining problems, specifying tasks, and prompt generation.

Maria Wiedner specialises in applying Generative AI for data analysis and report writing, combining tools like Excel and Python to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
This session will cover how to use Excel effectively with GenAI via Python for automation, data manipulation, and report writing.
