Naa Shika Lamptey

Naa is currently the Real Estate Financial Modelling Analyst at Cambridge Finance where she focuses on reviewing and re-writing Cambridge Finance’s publication pipeline which consists of current course manuals as well as assisting with financial modelling projects. 

Naa Shika studied Economics and Mathematics at undergraduate level prior to getting a Master’s degree in Real Estate Finance at Henley Business School, University of Reading. Her experience has been centred around both the financial services industry; having had internships with Stanbic Bank and PwC; as well as the real estate industry where she worked as a graduate assistant for Imperial Homes Limited, a luxury real estate developer in Ghana.

Holly is a self employed licensed accountant and member of the AAT and has been part of the Cambridge Finance family since 2019. Most of Holly's experience comes from running a holiday business in rural Lincolnshire for over 25 years.

Encroaching development meant a change of tactics and a return to her accountancy roots with retraining and setting up a new business. Outside of the office Holly loves Zumba, swimming, hiking and is part of the local amateur dramatic society.

Dr. Ricardo Pereira

Dr. Pereira is a leading academic and practitioner in the property finance markets in the United Kingdom and worldwide. Ricardo founded InProp Capital LLP in 2008, a UK commercial property fund which focusses on real estate derivatives as a way to deliver synthetic property returns to investors. 

Prior to InProp Capital, Ricardo was a Real Estate Strategist at Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s where he developed the property derivatives trading strategies for the bank’s clients. Ricardo’s innovative views on risk management and property derivatives meant that he has published in high-impact academic journals, such as The Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics (2007 & 2009), Econometrics and Risk Management (2008) and international property conferences. Ricardo earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Universidade do Minho, Portugal and his PhD from the University of Cambridge, UK. Ricardo speaks Portuguese and English fluently.

Morag is a part-time lecturer in Real Estate at Glasgow Caledonian University; Director of property Services with affordable housing provider Albyn Housing Society; and Advisory Board Member of Ubuntu Impact Investments in Zaltbommel, The Netherlands. Kate Taylor FRICS

Kate focuses on helping people become chartered surveyors by building confidence and technical abilities. She has authored 6 editions of RICS APC Commercial Real Estate Revision Guide and 3 editions of Residential Real Estate.  Her specialism is valuation, following 26 years as a senior valuer and training consultant in central government, at the Valuation Office Agency.

She gets stuck into RICS assessment of professional competence as an assessor, auditor and appeal panel member, helping the process to be as fair as possible. Kate develops and delivers training for the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in valuation, residential real estate, commercial real estate and, of course, APC.  She delivers one of the most successful RICS Training products. The 33 years of experience in public and private sector mean her technical background is strong and varied. (and yes she did start young...) She empathises strongly with APC candidates and everything she does is with the overall goal of making the next generation of chartered surveyors the leaders we need in all aspects of surveying.

My focus on climate and impact come from a personal drive to contribute to re-orienting the world that my children are growing up in, supported by completion of the Oxford Impact Measurement Programme and ongoing advisory for impact-driven initiatives. I also advise impact-focused startups and early-stage enterprises, with a particular focus innovation, strategy, and impact; and female founders and entrepreneurs. I am also a passionate advocate for improving diversity, with a focus on gender diversity, and actively mentor and support young women in STEM through formal and informal efforts.
