What a year this has been! Looking back at 2020 and what the world has endured still seems surreal. Lockdowns, health fears, suffering and mourning, travel bans, closure of shops and businesses, panic buying, job losses and balancing work, children, and educational demands, it really has been a test. Some of us have endured far more, nevertheless, we have all had and continue to have uncertainty in our ‘new normal’. For Cambridge Finance, this has been a year of transformation. We very quickly adapted and moved our live training courses to an online platform. A major and much-needed pivot that was uncomfortable and unfamiliar at the start but soon has become like my morning coffee. Well almost! I do miss teaching in person and being able to gauge attention, confusion, and to share my jokes! At the same time, it has been an incredible experience to be able to do what I love from home, and the opportunity to have delegates not only from across the UK but also from Europe and the Middle East. Cambridge Finance is growing. We worked even harder during this time to ensure that our teaching delivers what it needs to and so it has been rewarding to hear and read the very many positive testimonials. As we continue to grow our product line and diversify, we hope to be able to share this experience with many more of you. On the cards for 2021 is a new course in ‘Climate risk and commercial property valuation’, an interactive e-learning course ‘Introduction to Real Estate Life Cycles’ and we fervently hope to reintroduce face to face courses. From the Cambridge Finance family to yours we wish you a blessed and peaceful Christmas with your families. New beginnings and hope for a more resilient 2021. |
